We adhere to the concept of "innovation driven, green development, and industrial integration", deeply study key technologies in the abalone industry, strive to build an efficient, environmentally friendly, and sustainable industrial ecology, and achieve the transformation from traditional breeding to high-value processing, and from single products to diversified applications.

In terms of scientific research achievements, the team has achieved remarkable results. Obtained 8 invention patents and 14 utility model patents, covering fields such as aquaculture, processing, and product development, laying a solid intellectual property foundation for industrial innovation.

The team actively participates in multiple national and Fujian provincial scientific research projects, covering abalone germplasm resources, healthy breeding, deep processing and other aspects, working together with domestic and foreign peers to promote industrial technological progress and upgrading.

In terms of talent cultivation, in response to the "Excellent Engineer Cultivation Plan", a graduate workstation has been established to build a practical and innovative platform for graduate students, achieve deep integration of industry, academia and research, and provide high-quality professional talents for the industry.

In 2020, the team’s achievement in "high-value development technology and industrial application of Fujian characteristic marine organisms" was awarded the first prize of Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. This achievement has achieved significant breakthroughs in the field of deep processing of abalone protein, developing high value-added products, improving utilization rates, expanding application areas, and providing key technical support for the high-value development of the industry.
